The club currently has an organised ride that take place on Wednesday evenings between April and September – to make the most of the Summer (!) daylight hours.
We meet at the UCLAN Sports Arena (next to the Final Whistle Cafe) on Tom Benson Way . Please arrive in time for a 6:00pm start, as having a prompt start ensures we arrive back in daylight, particulary in April and September. You are advised to have lights for the rides in April and September.
The ride leader and route will be published on the RVCRC Website Calander, Members Facebook and WhatsApp groups and is currently managed by our Chairman, Karl Dalton.
We usually ride between 20-25 miles and, dependant on the group ability, this maybe flat or hilly. We aim to have a stop at the half-way point for refreshment – often an ice-cream!
Slower riders are welcome – we can arrange for specific ability groups.
- First Ride; usually the first Wednesday in April
- Last Ride: usually the last Wednesday in September
The Wednesday season usually ends with drinks at The Continental!
