Our Mountain Bike rides take place on the first Saturday of each month (with few exceptions) and follow routes chosen from Mountain Bike books held at the club (we may take other routes as well from time to time for a bit of variety).
The difficulty and distance of the ride will always vary depending on the skill and fitness levels of riders on the day. We always meet at 8.30am at Preston College Main Car Park on St Vincent’s Road, Fulwood. We encourage car sharing to the ride start and there is ample parking at the College.
Rides will often start in the Lake District or on local moors and woodlands and can be quite remote.
So, what do you need to bring?
- A Mountain Bike!
- A packed lunch
- A change of clothes (you may get muddy!)
- Money
