I started cycling in 2014 and have been a member of the club since 2017. I joined because I was new to the area. I had no idea where I was going and I was constantly getting lost. Joining the club has been fantastic and over time I have enjoyed lots of great rides to parts of Lancashire that I never knew about, and have made a lot of new friends. I have been leading Club Rides on Sundays for a few years now and I have also been introduced to cycle touring with my club friends, which I really enjoy, challenging that they are.
I have been on the committee for a short time and I am now the General Secretary. This role is new to me but I hope I will be able to make a positive difference for all of our members.
